It all began in 1964, when my grandfather, Alibrando Dei, chose to acquire the Bossona lands and plant the first vineyard. There he discovered an extraordinary place, ideal for producing great red wines. In the 1970s the estate expanded with the purchase of Villa Martiena and its surrounding vineyards. In 1985, after an exceptional harvest, the very first bottle of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano signed by the Dei family was finally released.
